Brit's Parents -- We're Soooo Frustrated

Jamie SpearsThe following statement was released to CNN's Anderson Cooper by Jamie and Lynne Spears, Britney's parents:

"As parents of an adult child in the throws (sic) of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted."

96. Britney is no longer on an involuntary hold and considered gravely disabled; however, she could have stayed in the hospital. Once she is determined to be NOT gravely disabled, then it is up to her to voluntarily agree to stay and be treated. Her parents or doctors do not have any legal right to make her stay...

99. This is like a circus. I understand how her parent's feel. You just cannot control an adult child. Albeit one that is under a "brainwash" attempt. I always think in a Pollyanna way that someone can actually save these people and right all the wrongs but that is not how life is. She will have to come to her own way of dealing. Keep the faith Mr. and Mrs. Spears.

Please stop your nonsense and think about the consequences of your actions. You are a young adult and no matter how much you have been through in your short life you will never understand what you are truly doing to yourself and the people who matter most to you until something tragic happens to you. I know that even the loss of your children is not even enough for you to wise up. Trust me. Life gets extremely difficult at times and it is in these difficult times that you open up your eyes and see the truth. Your parents are there to guide you and help you along the way. Your family is there as well. Please know that you need to change your ways and your family are the ones who will be there when you need them the most.

105. This whole situation is stressing me out! I don't think I can come back here and read any more about Britney. This is just stressing me out too much! Seriously, I feel so helpless.
