49. Why would you want someone who does not wish to be apart of your Childs life to be forced too!!!
Find a nice guy to help raise that child and move on with your life. Some of this feels scorned to me.
Eddie was a jerk before she met him and after, Did she think he would be different with her?

53. If I was a modestly successful rich person and had a child with a celeb, say...Madonna for instance. Point is, if she had a baby with me...and for whatever reason said..."Here's the baby...you can both get lost...I don't want to have anything to do with you!!!"--well, I'd just take the baby without a public fight, and raise that baby...without Madonna's money...and without any need for it. No Gloria Alred led faux anger filled press conferences...No staged photo-ops at the Ivy Restaurant...and name calling necessary!!!

Again...if you are rich...and you have enough money to properly take care of a child...then why the hell are you demanding more money???!!!

That's my point about Mel B...what the hell does she need with more money, besides greed, in respect to raising this baby!!!

55. This is the second group of comments about Eddie Murphy I feel compelled to comment on. I just do not understand how some of you bitter women think. Maybe that is the issue...you are not thinking, you base everything on feelings.

It seems pretty obvious that Eddie waited until the DNA test came in to begin paying the support payments. I'm sure his lawyers had all discussed what they thought a "fair" amount would be, going back to the birth. There are precedents to go buy and formulas for child support. It's not rocket science. When the DNA came in the money went over to the Mother's attny. If the DNA had proved negative NO money would have been paid out.

All the bitter single mothers with bastards that have been complaining that Eddie should have "stepped up to the plate", "excepted his responsibility", etc.....He was dating a woman, not married to her, they broke up then she said she was pregnant with his child. He would not know if this child was his. Can't you get this through your skulls? If you are not married you are not automatically assumed to be the father. DNA is what seals the deal if the baby is born a bastard.

Oh, and you brainiacs that keep railing about Eddie using a condom. MAYBE HE DID. Has anyone here ever listened to that radio guy, Tom Leykis? He has a trick with horseradish he shares with men who may be sleeping with gold-diggers trying to get pregnant. He's pretty funny about his assessment of the single-mommy scene. Google him and go on his website to find out more. He's a hoot.

Single-mommy losers...get a grip and realize you make decisions over your own life.

56. you are all so shallow...ok...so a guy and a girl have sex....happens everyday....she says the child is his.....happens everyday, most of the time the child isn't related to the guy because the girl has been out and about around town.........he doesn't want to believe it is his....DNA proves it.....he admits it....starts doing his part.....so where is the problem?

57. Why do these celebrities think it's okay to be so careless about bringing children into the world? Murphy and his ex-wife had five kids? that's three too many in an overpopulated world and then when he starts dating, the first thing he does is knocks up some careless ex-singer. What's wrong with these people? I forget how many kids Shar Jackson has and reportedly she and K-fed are pregnant again. Have these people never heard of birth control?, tubaligation, vasectomies, condoms, whatever? Look it up people, ask your pharmacist, send your assistant to the drugstore. I can't believe how short-sighted these idiots are. This planet is overpopulated and they obviously don't care if their kids even have a world to grow up in, they don't think about things like the depletion of natural resources. And worst of all, they just don't care what kind of life those poor kids have, whether they have any kind of normal childhood. Also, Eddie had, what?...5 kids with his wife? Oh, the horror! IT WAS HIS WIFE HE HAD CHILDREN WITH. Clue to you...it's called marriage. It's a social contract that is enforced by govt. IT'S A GOOD THING FOR THE KIDS. They chose to have children and knew they would and could support them. Bad thing for kids to be subjected to the abject stupidity of women that do not set up a situation for their children to be taken care of financially and emotionally.

And, yes, I read that he had another bastard or 2 floating around. Believe me, he is paying their way. I did not say that he is "emotionally supporting them" or has "stepped up to the plate" or is "actin' like a may-un". No, he didn't want those kids, but they are reality and he IS undoubtedly supporting them finacially.

59. If it's 7 different mamas and only 4 kids then that sure don't add up. I know 2 are by the same woman the Brossaurd woman and he claims them. And then he has the designer one Jennifer he claims. I think it is the lowest of lows when you parade them to awards shows and premeires and praise them and never mention the others or acknowledge them. I remember I used to love Clint Black the country singer and his wife Lisa Hartman, he had a baby with a woman and didn't have anything to do with her either after the Dna revealed he was the father.

60. There seems to be a lot more to this than meets the eye. It looks like Eddie just dropped her while she was pregnant and got with another woman. But their may have been a build up to that.

Check out these links. It sheds a little light on the early stages of them being together. From the looks of it, she might have had a good thing going with Eddie, and then he suspected she messed up somehow.

She is getting some getting some publicity now, no one seem to have been paying any attention to her until she hooked up with Eddie. He may have called her on her game by leaving her, but she is now in the spotlight again (maybe not in the best way, and I don't know for how long) but at least she is getting some attention. Regaining trust is not easy.
